Earn Money

You won’t get rich volunteering as an EMT with McGregor Memorial EMS but…

CPR Instruction

Many of our volunteers earn good hourly pay ($15) working part-time as a CPR instructor in our large CPR education program. (Note: You must become certified as a CPR instructor to teach CPR).

EMT for Hire

Our volunteer EMTs are often hired as EMTs to work at sporting and other events.

Reimbursement for Expenses

Volunteers are reimbursed monthly for their out-of-pocket expenses, including meals while on-call and fuel costs.

Work Study Opportunities

McGregor currently has openings for two work study positions:

Associate Website Administrator and Special Projects Coordinator

Build your resume with real word technical, marketing, and business experience while helping to save lives!  McGregor EMS is a non-profit organization serving the communities of Durham, Lee, Madbury, UNH and beyond through education and 9-1-1 ambulance coverage.  Individual will be responsible for upgrading McGregor’s public and internal websites to increase community outreach, facilitate volunteer recruitment and promote educational programs.  This will involve making content updates, developing ways to improve website usability, and adding functionality (e.g. ability to create online forms).
