EMT Basic
There are two required texts for the EMT-Basic course. They are Prehospital Emergency Care (9th Edition) by Joseph Mistovich. The optional/recommended review manual is Success! For The EMT-Basic (2nd Edition) by Joseph Mistovich.
EMT Intermediate
There are two required texts for the EMT Intermediate course. The first is Intermediate Emergency Care: Intermediate Emergency Care (3rd Edition) by Cherry, Porter, and Bledsoe and published by Prentice Hall. The first four chapters of this book should be read before the first class.
The second text is Basic Arrhythmias (7th Edition) by Gail Walraven.
