Nationally, EMS providers have an on-duty-fatality rate that is almost well over twice the national average. News articles about EMTs and Paramedics being assaulted, injured, or even killed in the line of duty are unfortunately all too common. This important session will address a number of scene safety issues and discuss common pitfalls that even the most experienced EMT can fall victim too.
