Lapsed Certification
What to do if your certification lapses?
If you have not completed all re-certification requirements by March 31 then your certification will lapse. Getting your certification back is not impossible but it can be a difficult and confusing. We have taken the time to speak with the National Registry of EMT's and the New Hampshire Bureau of EMS in order to ensure that the information contained here is as useful and accurate as possible.
Note: This process can vary based on your individual circumstances. We have provided a general outline of the steps along with some useful suggestions but you should consider visiting these additional web sites for more information or contacting the Education Specialist for the Bureau of EMS:
Note: If you have completed all of the re-certification requirements by March 31 but did not mail your paperwork to the National Registry then you may be eligible to complete an easier “Re-Instatement” process. For more information or to see if you are eligible for re-instatement click here.
