Help! I Am Going To Lapse!

Haven't recertified and it's after March 31?
Despite all of the advice to start early, each year many EMTs will find themselves scrambling to recertify around the beginning of April.  If you find yourself after March 31 and have not completed the recertification process help is available.

New Hampshire License Waiver - Available if the following is true:

Your “Head of Unit” or “Service Chief” can request a waiver from the State of New Hampshire.  To learn how to request a waiver click here.

NREMT Re-Instatement Policy - Available if you completed all of the re-certification steps (with exception of processing paperwork) prior to March 31 except mailing materials to the National Registry.  Recertification Steps include:

Tip!  To take advantage of the NREMT’s Re-Instatement policy you must act by April 30. 

Recertifying if you Lapse – If you have not completed all of the recertification steps listed above by March 31 then you must follow the full recertification process. For detailed instructions about recertifying after lapsing click here.
